Andrew Cheatle, the Executive Director of the PDAC, was part in a panel on “Toronto – the mining capital of the world” in a show called “The Agenda” on TVO, where he also mentioned Women Who Rock (and other female industry organizations)  as a collaboration and networking group, that pursues the goal of improving  the participation of women in the mining industry.

Women Who Rock, through industry sponsorship, helps connect female professionals to valuable mentoring opportunities, from some of the biggest and most influential leaders in the Canadian mining industry.  By providing fun educational events and speaking engagements, Women Who Rock promotes equal opportunities for Canadian women in mining, while encouraging STEM and technical engineering, marketing, labor and management careers in mining.
